September is one of my favorite months. The sun is still strong enough to warm your skin and heart and evenings outside can be spent in a light cardigan.

"Libertango"

It takes two to tango! Why not to the passionate, original music of Argentine virtuoso Astor Piazzola or to Grace Jones’ captivating version from 1981?

"Just Another Story"
60 cm x 60 cm
Acrylics & collage on stretched canvas, framed in black tray frame.

This piece was created from an upcycled canvas with glue marks all over it. Letting my imagination run wild, I decided to accentuate the texture, use more glue and make a collage out of it.
Offwhite, shades of grey, black marks, some textured cardboard and scraps from a quality newspaper.
The black frame pulls it nicely together. It’s a great addition to any minimalistic interior.

50 cm x 50 cm Acrylics on canvas panel, framed.

"For The Record"

Well, just for the record... This painting was created from deep intuition during and after a “C” lockdown. Where there is darkness, there is light... always!

So many things are enjoyed better together: watching a beautiful sunset, going on a daytrip, celebrating a special day.
Better together is a mini-series. Each piece can stand on its own, but I think the pieces are even better together.

"Little Green"

“Little Green” (1971) by Joni Mitchell is an evocative song. I love the lyrics and I love green, “like the color when the spring is born”.
