It begins with an impulse.
A felt sense of color, form, and tension.
I follow what wants to emerge:
tentatively, in layers, with deliberate marks.
Color, surface, and negative space start to gently vibe together.
I’m drawn to what lies in between –
the unspoken, the transitions, the open zones.
I seek balance –
in the process, in space, in the gaze.
What appears is never planned –
but consciously placed and fully present.
Color and form may touch us at our core –
evoking memory, sensation, or inner imagery.
In the very moment I step beyond the familiar
and meet uncertainty with an open heart,
my artistic signature finds its form.
My passion for color, composition, and interior design fuels every piece I create. Nothing excites me more than seeing how art can transform a space in the most magical ways.
My admiration goes to the Ninth Street Women artists whose work and vision were crucial in shaping abstract expressionism.
